hello! my name is kendra, and welcome to my personal site. broadly speaking, i am passionate about investigating the impact of global environmental change on people, working equitably with local communities to accomplish this. i also dabble in various types of media as a means of communicating my and others research, such as podcasts, social media, and as of recently, film!

In the past, I have worked on identifying cost-efficient methane reduction strategies, predicting a huge hydroelectric dam’s natural inflow amounts using climate indices, projecting global temperature and associated mortality, and modeling how human bodies deal with heat.

right now, i am researching the impact of heat on K-12 schools and students as part of my doctoral dissertation.
